Why You Should Follow Bloggers & Influencers

As social media evolves it is getting harder to find Flash Giveaways. One of my sweeping tips is to follow bloggers and agencies as they both post giveaways they are working on with clients and sponsors.

However it is no longer good enough just to Like a page. As social channels evolve at an ever rapid pace, you must take advantage of notification features. In the case of Facebook, you must choose SEE FIRST.

Taylor Kaye

If you live in Canada, especially the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), one of my favourite influencers is Taylor Kaye. She is a local radio personality, plus online influencer. I like following her adventures online as she keeps it real. Taylor posts the funniest videos of her children ‘The Special Kayes’, but what I love the most are her Facebook Lives. Not only are the conversations hilarious, there are always prizes.

On Wednesday November 14th 2018 at 1:30pm ET, Taylor is hosting a special Facebook Live as Tim Hortons is announcing a new promotion, plus I wouldn’t be encouraging you to watch if there weren’t prizes.

SHORT RULES (for all Taylor’s giveaways): Win what she, or one of her clients is giving away. Open to all of Canada. Starts when the video is live. Ends at the time and date stated in the video.

THIS CONTEST: Open to all of Canada. Comment to be in to win. Ends at 11:59pm ET on Friday November 16th 2018.

Follow influencers who promote products and services you like as the giveaways they host will more than likely be items you also enjoy.

Do you follow influencers on social media?

I have never followed Taylor Kaye but she sounds awesome. Trouble is, I have found many prizes are also for the local area i.e. tickets to a local show, hockey game, etc. Although the contest is open to all of Canada, I live in the prairies and winning tickets to a hockey game or show in Toronto, does me no good. Also, I don’t want to take away the chance for a local person to win. Thanks
