In September I finally did something I was meaning to do for 2 years. I painted my office. It also gave me the opportunity to move the furniture around along with doing a deep purge/clean and clear. During that process, I found a gift card for Dundas and Carlaw.
Last year I held a Tea With The Queen Facebook contest last and the winner never claimed her prize. I then tucked the gift card away and forgot about it.
When I found it while reorganizing I thought it was time to host another giveaway. As you can probably guess by the name of this blog post, the winner doesn’t get the gift card. So, what did they win?!
Tea with me. We meet at the coffee shop, I treat and they get to ask any question(s) about contesting. The prize boils down to: a free, in-person, one-on-one Mastermind class with me!
It turned out the winner lived over an hour from Toronto, and I am close to the same. We decided to meet in between and put the original prize up for grabs again.
Deborah and I met at the Tin Mill in Uxbridge. Neither of us had ever been. What a fantastic place!
We had dessert and tea while we chatted. Delicious!
Our conversation briefly touched on sweepstakes. I discovered Deborah currently only enters occasionally for prizes that catch her fancy or would be fun. Tea with me is definitely fun!
Life ebbs and flows, so at times she enters a lot and others a little. The beauty of this hobby is it’s always there when you are ready.
Otherwise we talked about our lives, interests that aren’t sweepstakes based. It’s amazing how different we are and yet how similar.
To me this is the best part of the hobby. Meeting people and going places I never would in my everyday life, whether it be on a win or as a contest sponsor.
Be sure to follow me on Facebook for your chance to win as I hold court in my hometown and whenever I travel. If you can’t wait, enter my monthly giveaway for a custom one hour mastermind session with me.
Would you like the chance to meet me?
