To really get comments from all (or those willing to leave convention comments) the convention hosts should ask as attendees leave. That way, not just those that subscribe to this blog, or various newsletters, or are not even electronically connected to other sweeps methods – will have the opportunity to give feedback. I have long wondered why this isn’t done and there’s no way I believe only the positive comments I see on other sweeping sites, are truly the only ones that are received. – I’m willing to bet the owners/moderators of those sites edit or remove negative comments.

I know you can’t please everyone, I know how negative criticism can hurt, but I also know that my way isn’t the only way.

It’s still amazing to me that my few dollars give me such a prize-filled, fun, informative chance to be with a group I had no idea existed, yet who share the same hobby. And that anyone would go to all the work, contract negotiations, griping, sniping and miserableness that is some attendees, etc. is wonderful – well I couldn’t do it. Thankfully someone has for 26 years!
